Other Pics from the Holidays

We were able to see our friends over New Years. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures but here are the few I did get.....

Emma's first experience drinking....she loved it. As you can see she was very intense about it ...notice the crossed eyes???

The Pell Clan

The Sanders family (at least some of them) were able to drive up from Yakima to meet Emma. This is Emma with her great grandpa.

Mimaw with Great Aunt Vicki and Marcy...

Papa and Mimaw with Emma....

The Cousins: Emma got to meet her cousins for the first time. This is Luke (the oldest) Jack and Emma all dressed up for Christmas. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get them all to look at the camera at the same time. This is as good as it got :)

The Stagge Clan

The first full Stagge photo since Emma was born
Pappy and Mamaw with little miss Emma

Emma, Auntie Heidi and her cousin....see the bump??

We also got to see my Aunt Kathy, Uncle John and cousins Ryan and Danielle. This is Emma with her cousin Ryan

Our Holiday Trip to Washington

Merry Christmas, Baby!!!

We had a white Christmas when we were in Wenatchee. It was beautiful...Emma wasn't sure what to do with the cold...

Emma's First Christmas Tree

Hmmmm....this looks like a good one...
Let me feel it to make sure...
What, you doubt my tree picking skills.  This is the one.  Trust me.

I love Christmas like my mom!!

I am getting pretty good at sitting up on my own....

Oops, fell over

Christmas Parade

Greensboro hosts a big Christmas parade with all of the large balloons...kind of like a small Macy's day parade.  We decided to take Emma to it thinking she may like the balloons going by.  As you can see by the last picture she mostly napped but it was fun for us adults :)

Cool hat , don't you think?

Let's Go Shopping!!

In great Pell fashion (Mom Pell you would have been proud) we woke up at 5am and headed off for Emma's first black friday.
This is me at 5am....Shopping anyone??
Ahh, nothing like a nap on the couch after a long day of shopping

Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house with our friends Greg, Angie, Jason, Alisa and a surprise visit from my brother Justin back from his travels around the world...we had a great time and I cooked my first turkey.  I called my mom at 10am my time (7am her time) to get some last minute advice and had to defrost the 20 lb turkey in our bathtub the day before but all was well and we feasted as all good Americans do..

Aren't I cute in my Thanksgiving Dress?

Emma sat in her high chair for the first time for Thanksgiving.  You can see her enjoying the new plastic taste in the left hand corner of the picture.
Emma and her Uncle Justi.  We were so excited to be able to spend the holiday with him.  This was the first time that he met Emma.  He even babysat for us a couple of evenings and did a slam bam job.  Emma loved her Uncle Justi.
Here is all of us in our living room after stuffing ourselves in the kitchen.
