Norah Arrived Right On Time!!

Our sweet baby girl, Norah Diane, arrived on her due date, May 29th 2013 at 4:22am.  She was 8 pounds 13 oz and 20 inches long.  Though I felt like she was going to be early so it seemed to take forever for her to arrive, once she decided she wanted out, the labor was quick and out she came.......

The kids got up at 4:30 in the morning to meet their sister and arrived at the hospital right after she was born.

Emma may have been the most excited of all of us to finally meet the sister she saw moving around in mom's belly......

Yaya was there when Norah was born and Pappy, Uncle Justi and Auntie Carin came to the hospital with the kids.

Norah was a bit Jaundice so she had to sleep under lights for a day....

Emma was devistated when she arrived at the hospital and found out that she couldn't hold Norah all day.  So we moved the light, put Emma in some shades and let her hold her sister under the light...

Spring Happenings

Emma played soccer with her Purple Punch team (now the Lilac Dolphins) again this spring.  It was amazing how much all of the girls improved from the fall.  Emma scored goals in almost all of the games and scored the only goal at her last game.  She did a great job of running fast and staying in front of the ball....

Coach Dave had the team over for an awards BBQ.  Emma won the "911 Emergency" award for her skills in getting back on defense when the other team had the ball.

We participated in the Bloomsday run by handing out Otter Pops to the runners.  We had a great time watching the runners

We decided to try our hand in planting a garden this year.  Since I couldn't help much with the planting, I thought I could help make some signs to keep track of what we planted....
