My friend Kristen and I went strawberry pickin.  It was one of our strangely cold spring days.  Emma was unsure at first but then loved eating the strawberries.  We had fun watching her shove them in her mouth as fast as she could....

Welcome Kai Phipps!!

On May 13th, Kai Phipps was born.  He is the son of our good friends Greg and Angie.  We were all, especially Angie, very excited for him to pop into the world.  Emma now has a friend that lives right down the street!

Charleston

I had a conference for work in Myrtle Beach so we spent a few days at my conference then headed down to Charleston for a night.  Here is Emma at the South Carolina beach....She was very girly about the sand...didn't like to touch it and just kind of poked it with her finger...

Wagon Ride

John bought Emma a red wagon for Christmas which she is just now starting to take advantage of.  She is the queen as her daddy pulls her around the neighborhood.

Time with Grandma Holly

At the beginning of April, my mom came to visit.  We had a great time with Emma and she LOVED her grandma......

Aunt Marcy comes to Visit

At the end of March, John's Aunt Marcy came to visit us.  We had a wonderful time and even took Emma to the zoo.  See the giraffe in the background???  Emma loved her Aunt Marcy and we loved having her as she was an excellent baby rocker...
