Oregon Coast

On our way back to California we spent the night at the Oregon coast with Meemaw and Papa. We had a great time playing on the beach and watching the sunset. It was a good break for our long drive home....

House Hunting

Once we got to Washington we spent a few days in Wenatchee then John and I headed over to Spokane to look at houses....

We got to attend Carin's graduation from nursing school.....

Dinner out.....

And then we left the kids behind and headed over to Spokane.  We had two days to find a house. We looked at dozens of homes all over Spokane. Before we left Emma drew us a picture of our house with our family standing outside...

Another Road Trip .... and Camping

For our move to Spokane we decided to drive up to look at homes.  We took two days and camped in Oregon on the way up.  The kids had a blast, we got a little bit of sleep, and we enjoyed the outdoors between a lot of time in the car........

Change is a comin....again...

John has accepted a position at Whitworth University as the Director of the Writing Program starting Fall of 2012 so our family is returning to Washington after seven years away.  It has been a long journey, full of wonderful adventures and even more wonderful friendships but we are excited to be returning home....closer to family and old friends.  We feel very blessed that we can settle in somewhere more permanently.  Spokane...here we come!!
