Getting to Know Spokane....

We spent the fall getting to know Spokane.....

We explored the areas near our house.  Here is a park on the river just down from our house.  We will definitely do some more exploring here next summer.....

Emma's First Day of Kindergarden

Emma's first day of Kindergarden was perfect.  We woke up in the morning and had special pancakes for breakfast.  It was not rushed as Emma goes to afternoon kinder so she doesn't have to be there until 12:30 and gets done at 3:00.

We took lots of pictures.....

And then rode our bikes up to the school....

Emma was so excited.  Gave us big hugs and walked confidently into school.  Had a great first day.

Johnny and I made cupcakes to celebrate her first day...

She got home and we had our very first after school snack...pink cupcakes.....

We still can't believe that we have a little girl that is in school but were proud to see her do so well and be so excited for this new part of her life.  Johnny and I miss her while she is at school and are thankful we got to ease into it with just a half day.
